i saw them awhile ago and wanted them a lot bc i know the brand and his shoes are generally great and not too expensive but never cheap. [i wanted his grey oxfords and saw them on sale a while ago but never got them.... i think now's too late the trend has been too strong this winter.]
gladiator sandals are always adorable and these are a very nice shape. and even a little tall :)
then the beading, believe it or not, reminds me of my childhood. from trips i don't remember we always had belts with that beading style lying around the house and in our closets. on trips i do remember i studied native americans in colorado, utah, new mexico and arizona in depth. and the shoes are just generally great except for the fact that they're made out of leather.
they were 88 and 75 on a bunch of websites then on one website they're 59. so i was like why shouldn't i? i made double that much yesterday. [the answer is 'that money is for saving the aminals.' fuck, i'm not just a cow-murderer-for-shoes, but i'm a bad person too.]


then i saw these [same designer]. and i'm obsessed with grommets. esp gold. on black.
apparently it was a fall07 thing cause all the collections heavily featuring them were then, but really i've loved grommets for a few years and i have no intention of ending my passion for them. gold grommets on black are needed.
